The JABBAWAKIES

this group till this day still inspires me their story is amazing because off of one success on a hit TV show called Americas best dance crew they went from being a national success to an international success and now host their own show in last Vegas and are currently doing a reality show to add another member I was inspired all the way back in college and they even make me want to dance again to an extent even though I don't want to really dance again I have loved the idea of dancing in masks and or being a part of it so I took inspiration from this group to form my idea and here I am centring my current dance project around them more towards their beginning and their battle roots but then also seeing them perform live on a big stage and my aim is combine these two aspects and have the dancers I gather up and have different dancers battle it out on stage then slowly turn the battle into one big explosion of dance art   

this was the first I really noticed them and loved this dance crew along with the show they appeared in movies and at the time step up 2 was one of the biggest films out at the time and this was a deleted scene at the time I really got hooked to them

Liam

This picture features our dancer he has so much skill so much so that we are considering splitting him up and making dance against himself he has the versatility and the style to do so here are some examples of his work

here he shows unique skill in locking popping and moving his body and ironically is in a mask and we as a team think we can take from this and add more to it and develop it into a street style battle dance film 

here he changes the scene to more of and out door feel and freestyles to a song again showing his talent and feel for dance 

Our goal as a team is to take dance and show it in two forms street battle aggressive style and a fluid smooth contemporary style taking Liam and splitting into two people showing that dance isn't limited neither is his talent taking from what i saw the jabbawaciez do and allowing myself and my team to create a piece of art from it using Liam in his full ability and range is the aim
