I had to pick this film to me it still resonated with me simply because of the way the dancing patterns and styles was brilliant and combine so well. even individually certain parts of the film looked so good and the music well meshed with the movements in the film.
an example would be my favorite character in the film is moose he had a scene in the film where he resembled the legendary Michael Jackson his moves his cadence his demeanor and even some of the moves reminded me of him and love this scene for it
this only lasted 30 seconds but it solidified so much for me and reminded me why I feel the way I feel when I do a dance move. It's part of a style that has been replicated because of the impact MJ had in creating these moves the flair the head and shoulder pops the leg drop is iconic. This man is the only one along with Usher to pay proper homage to the legend and dance properly.
You Got Served
this film was the start of so many trends and gave a lot of people that didn't know how to dance the confidence to dance. You can learn how to dance and mimic certain moves and make your own. Omarion had an amazing scene battling going one on one freestyling and destroying Columbus short words don't do the move enough.
this is another individual that dominated the whole film with something so short can stand the test of time and I have been inspired since. I have to take what I stored from these film and create my own films. they had the budget but I can still use what I have and create something special taking from a group called the jabberwockeez. They dance in masks and I wanted to use the masks as a base for each of my dancers. I am still working on adding more dancing and different styles and so on.
This is how I would like all the dancers to cooperate to an extent the camera work and angles and techniques is something I would love to replicate.
